1. About MobCrafter Hub
MobCrafter Hub is a community catalog operated under the domain mobcrafter.net. The Site allows registered creators to publish MobCrafter mod releases — including unit JSON files, schematics, ZIP bundles, and external release links — for the Minecraft community to discover and download.
MobCrafter Hub is an independent community site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MobCrafter Hub you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, creators, and others who access the Site.
3. User-submitted content
MobCrafter Hub allows creators to submit and publish content including unit JSON files, schematics, images, ZIP bundles, and related metadata. By submitting content you represent and warrant that:
- You are the original creator of the content or have obtained all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to upload and publicly share it.
- Your content does not infringe the intellectual property, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party, including Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or any other rights holder.
- Your content is truthfully described — including accurate titles, honest descriptions, correct dependency disclosures, and screenshots that represent the actual release.
- You have the right to grant MobCrafter Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute the content as part of the Hub catalog for as long as it remains published on the Site.
Granting this license does not transfer ownership of your content. You retain all rights you had before publishing.
4. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not submit, publish, or link to content that:
- Infringes on the copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Contains or links to malware, spyware, ransomware, or any software designed to damage, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
- Impersonates another creator, an official MobCrafter starter release, or any other person or entity in a misleading or deceptive way.
- Is intentionally deceptive — including mismatched content descriptions, fake file types, or thumbnails that do not represent the actual release.
- Contains material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law.
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
You also agree not to attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features or access controls of the Site.
5. Intellectual property
All content submitted by creators remains the property of the respective creator (or the rightful rights holder), subject to the license granted in Section 3. MobCrafter Hub does not claim ownership over user-submitted content.
The Site's own interface, design, code, and original editorial content are the property of MobCrafter Hub and may not be reproduced without permission.
6. Content moderation
MobCrafter Hub reserves the right to review, approve, reject, unpublish, suspend, or permanently remove any content or creator account at any time, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or for any other reason necessary to operate the Site responsibly. Removal or rejection may happen without restoring public visibility or providing a detailed reason in all cases.
7. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on MobCrafter Hub infringes your copyright, please see the DMCA page for instructions on submitting a copyright complaint. MobCrafter Hub will respond to properly filed complaints in accordance with applicable law.
8. Third-party links and external services
Releases on the Hub may include links to external platforms such as CurseForge, Patreon, YouTube, or personal creator sites. MobCrafter Hub is not responsible for the content, availability, pricing, terms, or privacy practices of any external website or service. Following external links is entirely at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
MobCrafter Hub and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. MobCrafter Hub does not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any particular release will be compatible with your version of Minecraft or MobCrafter.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MobCrafter Hub and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages — arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its content. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site or its content is to stop using it.
11. Changes to these terms
MobCrafter Hub may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
